What is CLT technology

We harvest the forest on our own ecologically clean territory, so we do not have seasonal interruptions in the supply of wood. Then we group the raw materials, saw along and plan.

Glue is applied to the resulting lamellas and laid perpendicular. The seam between the boards is formed at the molecular level, the glue is absolutely harmless. The vertical lamellae of the plate set the load–bearing capacity of the plate, the horizontal ones set the longitudinal stiffness, so the panel does not walk. The glued layers of the array create a natural vapor barrier effect.

Production of CLT panels

Houses made of CLT panels are suitable for year-round use at temperatures up to -70 °C. This is possible thanks to the CLT-thermo technology, which is used to produce external panels. In them, part of the internal lamellae is replaced with insulation, which is glued and pressed. The most commonly used wood-based or polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation materials are safe materials with low thermal conductivity.

A “pie” of boards is placed under a press that presses on the plate from four sides. Strictly according to the project, on computer-controlled equipment, we cut openings for windows and doors, channels for networks, niches for insulation. Everything is accurate here, the human factor is excluded. Then comes the processing, labeling and packaging.

Delivery time

The average delivery time is from 2 to 6 months, depending on the workload of the plant, followed by transportation and installation. The module plates can be assembled locally, and not at the factory, so they are easy to put in a remote and remote area. The full cycle does not exceed 90 days and is performed at any time of the year.

Step-house, a growing house: you can quickly and easily attach additional modules to the structure without organizing large-scale construction, add new rooms or remove unnecessary ones. It is possible to implement a large number of architectural layouts, unlike frame modules.

In the assembled house, you can immediately make repairs, it will not sit down like a brick one.

Visible surfaces do not require special investments, except for painting. If some walls need to be plastered or wallpaper glued, then two layers of drywall are attached directly to the plate, on which these works are carried out. The plastic of the visible surfaces of the walls can be either monolithic in the type of a "furniture shield", or with cut chamfers in the interface of boards of any configuration in the form of a "block house" or a finishing wall panel, and complete finishing from the factory is also possible.

From the outside, you can mount a hinged facade or choose the type of wood of the upper lamella.

With the same dimensions, the usable area of a CLT-slab house is 10% larger than a concrete one.

Dimensional stability and static strength in all directions. Modules made of CLT plates are the most rigid construction, in which there are no hinged joints, unlike traditional frame modules made of wood or metal. Even if the foundation piles are walking, the module will remain a solidly rigid structure. Also in the house there will be no dynamic vibrations in the interstory ceilings, or the trampoline effect.

The panels have a low thermal conductivity (0.13 W / mK) and a high specific heat capacity (2.10 kJ / kg), and are also windproof: joints and walls are securely sealed, a monolithic structure without cracks is formed.

It has excellent acoustic data. The sound insulation index of walls made of CLT plates with a thickness of 100 mm R (w) = 40 dB, comparable to a brick wall of the same thickness (42 dB). This quality is used both in residential buildings and in public buildings, for example, CLT-plates are used in the hall of the Mariinsky Theater.

CLT is characterized by poor gorenje. Buildings made of such slabs are characterized by increased fire resistance in comparison with wooden ones. The fire resistance limit is not less than REI 90.

You can use any engineering heating systems - underfloor heating, radiators, convectors or a combination of them using boiler equipment, as well as carry out electrical work of any degree of complexity, according to the design project.
